Started over a week ago and after being gone for a week, I tried to upload today. With a basic (free) account, we can upload to Flickr up to 500 photos & 10 videos per month. Last night I found "PicBackMan" and it uploaded to Flickr very well. The old uploader still works for me, but I've got so many photos to add it's just too slow and clunky.Ĭan anyone suggest any other workarounds? Or can flickr PLEASE look into this issue?! Around a week ago and for a long time before, I was uploading merrily. I'm on my laptop with Windows 10, using the new uploadr in Chrome (but also had the same problem when I tried Microsoft Edge), and I'm with plusnet. I have been having upload problems for the past week - files constantly time out and fail to upload, no matter how many times I hit 'Retry.' I don't have pro account so haven't test with official Flickr Uploadr. No issue with other uploaders such as official iOS app, Lightroom (Win), PicBackMan, etc. I have the same issue with both old & new "web uploader" (Tested with Chrome & Fifefox on Win10) I have not been able to upload for over a week. I dont know if Flickr is taking it seriously. The problem of appearing/hiding of the previous photo ("Tile") is also disappeared. I've just uploaded this photo again ("Yellow") and all is ok now. It seems to be that it was a local Flickr bug. (701 to 800 of 1006 replies in I cannot upload photos today.) This can be interesting if you have work and spare time images on your computer and want them backed up in different locations. You can for instance configure a folder on your hard drive to be automatically uploaded to Facebook and SkyDrive, and another folder to be uploaded to Flickr. It is rather interesting that you can make specific connections between sources and backup locations. Images get uploaded automatically and the program monitors the locations you have selected for new images that it will process automatically as well. The program takes care of everything once you have configured at least one image source and one cloud hosting provider. You can also switch to the Backup tab to select local folders containing images that you want uploaded to select hosting services.
